Himachal Pradesh

Himachal Pradesh is a very good example of self sufficient economy. People are happy with whatever little they have. The most fundamental needs like food, cloth and shelter is fulfilled by nature.

I have seen a very strange thing that is their cultural taste, the objects they use, their colors, their forms. These are so so advanced that I can say they were one of the most developed cultures of the world. And the most beautiful thing is, they are still very near to that.

While staying their for a longer duration, I asked a local village person if he or other people there would be interested to start any industry there, he frankly denied. I found them so contented genetically, culturally.

Living in the close proximity of nature, isolation from urban development gave them a meditative environment. They evolved so beautifully. This may be partly due to their self sufficiency. They are least dependant on their neighbor places, each unit residing on geographically recognizable unit is independent till large extent that least does it depend on others.

Another important factor, some very very small villages are so beautiful, even more beautiful than known tourist spots - they are beautiful in all ways because tourists or people never bothered to stay or interact there. I really thanked God that we or they could not reach there. And you will not believe they are so so beautiful - their trees with their angles, their grasslands, their homes, so natural, I believe for centuries, I saw consciousness dancing there, arranging everything visually, visually so beautiful, I was just hanged to them, so much so virgin those places were even I once thought before walking over those pieces of land.

Mostly these places are on the way to higher mountain areas, they emerge suddenly and artists will find those inspirations so inspiring, I have no words to describe, all that I can say we are so so fortunate that those beauties and cultures are still surviving and more happily I can say people would never stop or stay there as they are very small and amidst this huge beauty it makes no sense to stop and stay there (that too, only for beauty). Thank God it make no sense. Those beauties are, as it is as they were, as beautiful.
